MERKUR Casino UK launches brand-new MERKUR Slots venues

Milton Keynes-based MERKUR Casino UK has continued their investment in the high street by opening brand-new adult gaming entertainment centres in Basingstoke, Bolton, Bracknell, Camberwell, Leicester, Preston, Slough, Southport, Stoke Newington, Tooting Bec, Tooting, Trowbridge, Upton Park, Waterloo and Woolwich. The brand-new venues are all now open and have created 10 new local jobs in each area.

Speaking about the new venues Mark Schertle, COO of MERKUR Casino UK, said: “This is a very exciting time for the MERKUR Slots brand. Following an uncertain year, we’re delighted to be able to continue our investment in the high street and give customers a brand-new experience in locations where we don’t currently have a presence. It means a lot to us to be able to support the local communities with new job opportunities. We are hoping to create at least 500 jobs by the end of this year with the new venues that have opened and those we have planned.”

MERKUR Slots provides the latest in digital game content. All machines are fully digitised, and customers will be able to enjoy all of their favourite slots games, as well as the latest in Blueprint games.

All MERKUR Slots venues continue to implement enhanced safety precautions as a result of Covid-19 and everything is communicated effectively with customers, via social channels and the official website.

During last lockdown all staff were further trained in preparation to open again. The senior management team will continue to heed official government advice and will regularly monitor, and adjust the plan, over the coming weeks and months. Safety measures inside the venue include Perspex screens, full machine clean between customers and sanitiser stations.

Mark continued: “We look forward to welcoming customers back to gaming once more and we feel we have a unique edge in that we can offer them brand-new, modern venues that have been designed with our customers in mind. Customers can game with total confidence. Thank you to all our staff who have worked tirelessly to get the venues up and running ahead of opening.”
